Safer Drivers Course Castle Hill

Course modules

Module 1

(3 hours)

A face-to-face group discussion of 6 to 12 learners for a 3-hour period, with two breaks. This module is where you will begin to build awareness of risks, decisions, and safe driving behaviours before getting onto the road.

Module 1 will be followed by a lunch break.

The locations mentioned are tentative, may change and will be informed close to the date.

Module 2

(2 hours)

On-road coaching for 2 hours with one break. This is where you will take to the road in a driving school vehicle (fitted with dual controls) on public roads along a predefined driving route consisting of three types of drives. There you will practice low-risk strategies, as well as reinforce the safe driving behaviours you explored in Module-1 with an instructor and one other learner, who will swap seats with you to complete each type of drive.
